The only battle we have ever had with UK is the revoluitionary war and the war of 1812. We won both of them. Get your facts straight.

Its human nature to be jealous, believe to be superior, and many other things. You saying war is stupid, which is caused by people, is the same as calling all of the politicians, soldiers, and voters stupid. The politicians because they passed the war. The soldiers because they're fighting it. The voters because they put the guy in office who started the war.
