I love you for that comment even more than the previous one.
Re: The Iraq War
Well, the two reasons for this war is due to two things, A. September 11th, duh. And B., the Monroe doctrine. And I think that we belong over there, we should finish what we started. And all of you against the war, the soldiers over there weren't forced to go, they volunteered. The draft is gone. And, there is always information that we aren't told, so there is probably a deeper purpose of us being there than you would think. Also there are weapons of mass destruction there. We also have to help them reform their government. Also, when the 9/11 attack happened 90% of America agreed with Bush on going to war. Obviously some people forgot that thousands of people were killed.

Re: The Iraq War
Oh, so avenging thousands of lives isn't a good reason? So we shouldn't have entered WWII either? Or WWI with the Lusitania? Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the lusitania are pretty similar. Yeah, attacks on our country are "horrible" reasons for war.

If it is that irritating to you, then don't read it. It's annoying having people randomly interrupt a good debate.

Re: The Iraq War
thats not wat i ment
have you played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
If youve done the mission called "No russians" Ull see wat i mean. For those of you who havent played the game the story is this
You play as "roach" a U.S soldier who is also in the CIA, who is infiltrating a Russian terrorist group. You go to the moscow airport and light up a bunch of civvies and trashing the airport, the leader of the terrorist finds out your caver and knocks you out, you are discovered by the russian police, and america is blamed over the attack. Russia enraged attacks th U.S
L:ike in the plot these guys could have been acting on their own and steps were taken even tho the "mother country" was not responsible.

Oh, video games are always great resources for information. And, with the examples I mentioned they were part of groups and carrying out orders. The Lusitnia was taken down by orders of the German military. Pearl Harbor, the Japanese army. 9/11 Al queeda.

September 11th was the the reason we went to war in Afghanistan, not Iraq. And as I mentioned previously, Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda had a strong mutual dislike of each other, and there was no Al Qaeda presence in Iraq prior to the invasion. Saddam Hussein was a wretched dictator, but he had nothing to do 9/11. Also, the intelligence claiming there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was proven to be erroneous quite a while ago, and if Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction at his disposal, why did he not use them when on us when we invaded? He had nothing left to lose at that point by doing so.

I simply love this post of yours, Hawk.
Oh, and don't forget all the insane incidents in Britain. I think more a total of people died there by now, and also considering the constant terrorist activity out in western U.S....
In short, we really to kick their asses every time they kick ours and back us the corner. It's called self-defense. We are not striking back without having a good reason...this isn't nation-wide bullying, this is lethal shit.

Thank you midget, at least someone understands. We can't just sit back and watch our country be destroyed. We have to take action!

Re: The Iraq War
Well, of course, they would be in unknown territory, that's one of the reasons that most of America's wars take a long time. We aren't in our own territory, but in foreign countries. The Japanese new their land and used that to their advantage.

Re: The Iraq War
If you know me, I don't say f**k.
Now fix that fucking quote !
I was talking about some random things happening out by Nevada (There is no reference to Area 51, OK?), like some people trying to break into Nellis AFB.
There is also the crap in Washington D.C....

...OK. One, Washington D.C. is in EASTERN United States. And two, I live in the West part of the USA, and trust me, not much out of the ordinary is going on. There is little to NO terrorist activity here, zip, zilch, nada, non-existant, not fucking here. Hell it be fucking amazing if someone Hijacks a plane some time next dacade just to be a terrorist WANNABE. I'll admit, there is a lot of crime going on, but little to no acts of terrorism.
Re: The Iraq War
Yeah, there has been more terrorism in the East than the West.
