The Nightside [RPG]

Walker sighed. He called upon his Voice, summoning the power contained in the first words of the universe. His Voice could not be denied. It could make anyone do anything, answer any question, ecetera, ecetera. "What year do you think it is?"
(and yes, you do have to answer)

*Ludwig falls on his knees holding his skull* "Aaaaaah!! Why! It must be 1950 something, I killed the "fuhrur" not too long ago. But i have not seen a calender in years!"

"Huh. Wait... I know you! You're the man who killed Hitler! You must have fallen through a Timeslip, it's 2009. Here, where're you going?"

*gets up and dusts off clothing* Well, I'm not quite sure, anywhere away from those Nazis. Fur sie Deutchland! Nicht fur sie fuhrur. Anyway, wo bist, I mean who are you?

"I'm Walker. I run the Nightside, inasmuch as anyone does. Or can. Oh, and about the Nazis.... You kinda fell through a Timeslip. Welcome to the future. The only Nazis here live on the Street of Gods, they worship at the Church of the Holy Fuhrer, or something like that.

Lead me to zem, they vill be my pray. For my thirst fur blood ist coming. Schnell meine frenden! Point me in the right direction and run.

"I'll do you one better." Walker took out his golden pocket watch, and suddenly they were standing on the Street of Gods. "The Nazi church is that way." Walker pointed towards it.

*Ludwig slowly began transforming* You best run, this is when I have fun. *Ludwig then went full werewolf and charged toward the Nazis. Walker traveled to the top of a building to watch the battle. The Nazis fired MP-40s and other useless weapons at Ludwig, but to no avail he made quick work of them and feasted on their flesh. Once he was done he slowly began to change back and casually wiped his mouth with his sleeve*

"Impressive. Are you by any chance related to Razor Eddie?"
At the sound of his name, the Punk God of the Straight Razor appeared beside Walker. Eddie was disturbingly slim, with strange pale gray skin. He wore a filthy old frock coat, that looked like it was being held together by the caked on grime that the actual stitches.
"You said my name, Walker?"
"......"

I could never be related to such a slob. Jeez, man, go clean yourself up. You could at least dress proper in public.

Eddie was suddenly behind Ludwig.
"Ahem." He pulled his Godly straight razor out of his pocket and flicked it open. "Here's a general tip, kid: Don't insult gods. Especially notoriously violent gods."

Kid, dear sir, I am no child. *transforms not vampire and appears behind Eddie* Maybe you shouldn't threaten immortals *begins digging a claw into Eddie's throat.

Eddie chuckles as the creature tries to dig into his throat, it's claws slashing uselessly against his skin. "Sorry that won't work. I'm a god, remember?"

Well, then I guess that puts us at a stalemate. (Ludwig vanishes and re-apears in front of Eddie* Let me be the first to put out my hand *puts hand out for hand shake*

Eddie put his razor away. "Okay then." *shakes Ludwig's hand*

Excellent, now Walker, where to now, who else is here. And what happened in the last 50 years?

"Hmm... Quite a lot has happened in the last 50 years... At least 79 gods have died... Oh, and there was a War between Angels from Above and Below, various other things that aren't worth mentioning. Who else is here... Let's try it this way. Every myth you ever heard, every myth you haven't heard. Every person, creature and god in all of those stories, are real, and most of them live here, in the Nightside."

So, this is basically an imaginated world brought to life. So all creations or thoughts or outcasts come here? Quite interesting.

"No, it's been here since long before most of what you consider 'real' was ever even thought of. Mostly gods are brought to life through belief. Enough people believe in something, eventually it becomes real. Then it get's it's self a nice church here on the Street of the Gods."

Hmm, but I believe there to be one not God, not many. As far as I am concerned these "gods" as you say are no more than thoughts brought to life.

"But that's just it, isn't it? How do you know that your god isn't one of these, or that one of these is the one true God?"

If they were true they would not be here. Why waste their time here if they were real? No, they have greater things to do. (500TH POST WOO HOO!)

"Whatever. Now, I have to go, I'm sure you can get Razor Eddie to show you around. Or Ezekiel Syphon, if you can find him." Walker suddenly disappeared.

Well, then, I guess that I'll have to find my own way, Eddie, I bid thee a good day.
