Throughout the series, Edward tries to make Bella's decisions for her. He tells her to go out with her school friends; he tells her not to see Jacob; he tells her they shouldn't date; he forces her to attend prom. When Bella protests and says she plans to make her own decisions, Edward responds "I'll stop you." Great - he's controlling. Contrary to popular opinion, that's not sweet and it's not caring - it's abusive.
Conversely, Jacob Black engages in rather heated debates with Bella on a variety of her decisions - particularly her relationship with Edward. He expresses his opinions and wishes she'd listen to him. But Jacob never tells Bella she "can't" or that he'll "stop her". Jacob Black understands a better boyfriend allows his girlfriend to make her own choices.

Ms Maples, that was a terrible post. And Rusty, I got to check some of those movies out, I've seen some nut not all of them.
