Airsoft!!!
With Rusty and I being airsoft gurus, masters, kings, lords, gods, etc. I thought it was about time we made a thread. I play with Buckins 126 sometimes, and he asked me to make this thread, so here it is. Post pics of your gear and post what you have.

Re: Airsoft!!!
Weaponery:
When i seriously got into Airsoft, it was 2007, my first weapon back then was a Dboys M4 S-System. Back choise, i must say now, broke in three months due to VERY unreliable and randomly build internals. My next weapon was then already a heavier duty machine - G&G GR16 Carbine. Have to say it's possibly been the best one yet. It last up for almost a year on me, along came a WE Tech Lawman Non-BlowBack pistol. Even the GR couldn't take anything, and was totally wasted when it's gearbox broke out. Lawman was a bad choise too, broke soon after, just as i got my last AEG of that time, a CYMA MP5. It was good for the first three months, then it broke out so fast i still have my doubts againts CYMA being the claimed best Chinese manufacturer of our time. When the CYMA died, so died my will to keep on with the sport.
The will i gained back under Christmas year ago. All my remaining gear had been sold away, so i practically started back from square one. I bought a Kalash AKS74, proved to be a damn good weapon, until the local repairer broke it. I remained gunless for a few months, bought a Jing Gong HK416 and later a Tokyo Marui M9 to back me up until i would find the gun i really would want. I've been playing with those two lately, Jing Gong broke under minus temperature before Christmas and was just sold away, the M9 is still here. I got a Double Eagle M3 for Christmas, and am planning to go for an SRC XM8.
Gear:
When i first begun Airsoft, i didn't much differ from others; All i had was a cheapo MARPAT univorm, which soon got a Mil-Tec Cross Draw vest along. Along came later a pair of combat shoes, a new Flecktarn camo, pistol holster and pair of gloves. I of course also had Bollé X500 googles, the only piece of gear i never got rid of (they're still in use). Then the will in me died for that one year.
When i woke back to reality and realized that once a softer, always a softer, i bought myself AGAIN the same MARPAT univorm, a South African Assault Vest carrier system, Mil-Tec's combat boots, dug up my gloves and went back on the field. My friend started a moment later and bought out my vest, and the univorm became too small, so i quickly gathered around all my funds and started thinking what to use and what to not.
I found out that i had insidiously and by then already helplessly became a Geardo, so fuck all thought of getting such unnecessary machines as mopeds or light motorcycles. I was going for some Airsoft shopping. Right now i'm a proud owner of an Eagle CIRAS vest, Mil-Tec Army Combat Univorm, FLYYE Tactical Belt, FLYYE Shotgun Pouch, Guarder Tornado pistol holster, Guarder Dump Pouch, Milspex SWAT gloves, Mil-Tec knee guards and soon Mil-Tec's ACU boonie and an ACU scarf. I also may need to update the magazine pouches on my vest.
If my text was too long for you to read, i'll give you a fast wrap:
Geardoism is fun, and i'm happily hooked.

Re: Airsoft!!!
I was once an amazing airsofter, but since there aren't a lot of airsofters where I live, I play paintball now.
Re: Airsoft!!!

Re: Airsoft!!!
Well. Lots more stupidity goin' on around here. Either that or I'm learning something. I mean. I never knew paintball is reserved for homosexuals. How interesting. Or ignorant, either way.
Re: Airsoft!!!
i am very good at airsoft I shot Hawkeye in the head TWICE. and now he has a mark on his head. I used to have a shotgun, but Hawkeye broke that to. and another friend threw my pistol across Hawkeye yard and broke that. now all i have is a pistol with a holographic sight and a lazer sight

I don't like the A4 version, I prefer the Vietnam era M16.

Re: Airsoft!!!
Psh, guns in the old days were such bigger rounds. For example the M1-garand was 30-06, now we use 5.56. See what I mean?

Re: Airsoft!!!
Yeah, i see an old, big slow round which goes through a body and leaves a nice, clean wound which can be easily treated and a modern, small and fast round which shrapnels into the body and is practically impossible to treat.
We can have a discussion for days about this.

Re: Airsoft!!!
Well, we discussed that the other day. But, anyway I am customizing my MP5 AEG, replaced the battery and I am doing a lot of externals. Also, I plan on replacing the motor and some other things.
