-New- Movie Opinions

If you just came back from your local theator, post your opinion on the movie(s) you saw here. Remember, it can't be an old movie, it has to be -IN THE THEATERS-. It also doesn't have to be a whole damn review, just your opinion.

Two recent movies I saw was "Law Abiding Citizen" and "The Vampires Assistant".

Law Abiding Citizen (LAC) is the pure spawn of epicness for people who like those kind of movies (myself included), for those who don't, it will probobly just be "pretty fucking good".

The Vampires Assistant was not great nor horrible, the many cliches and overdone scenes kept it from achieving epicness, but the bits of comedy, action, logical vampirism, and cool backstory made sure it didn't become piss in mud.

Did the vampire's assistant stay true to the book? I read it two years ago and enjoyed it.

I can't answer that, I never read the book.

The books good, its in the Cirque du Freak series, or however you spell that.

One new movie I saw was 2012. It was actually a very good movie and probably had more special effects then any movie I have ever seen.

That movie looks pretty good, but probably is making plenty of people paranoid.

I saw the "Princess and the Frog" recently. Its so good to finally see another classic 2D Disney film. The song lyrics weren't quite up to standard, but the instrumentals were excellent, and there was plenty of good old fashioned physical comedy. Not to mention, at long last, an African American princess. Yo!

Avatar was the best movie of 2009 next to Sherlock Holmes. I really don't like 2012 just for the concept.

I recently saw "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", and let me tell you that was one strange movie. I enjoyed it, though it was rather odd watching the character of Tony being played by four different actors.

An older movie that is completely amazing is Aliens, I love that movie. Own almost the entire series, except for Alien:Resurrection. But, Aliens (the second in the series) is by far the best. Humans vs aliens, colonial marines are sent with Ripley, the main character from the first film, to LV-426, I think its a moon, rescently people were allowed to live there and see if it was safe for others. The entire colony is killed off by aliens by the time the marines get there. The only survivor is a little girl that goes by "Newt". The film goes as the marines and Ripley search for more survivors and try to survive themselves. I won't give away anymore information. Except my favorite character is Pvt. Hudson, watch the movie!

No, really, the original is better than the remake. Plus remake has no Omen IV: The Awakening, which is my personal favorite.

The Hurt Locker was absolutelly already the best movie of the year.

Except if Expendables keeps it's word.

I can't read whatever language that is geneus. I actually have the DVD with me right now. And I watched the movie. It wasn't as good as your making it out. But thats for another thread, GTFO.
