The Iraq War

I'm just gonna say, if we have no war, we have no conflict. If we have no conflict, we'd be just as boring as an ant. Humans would live shorter lives because they never go out and fight to get more powerful in a gene sort of way.

Without war, but with conflict, we'd just snarl at each other for decades on end.

We need war. It's just not the best activity around.

Yes. We fight for victory, and when we win, that's called pleasure in other terms.

we didnt fight for pleasure in the revolutionar war. nor the vietnam war, nor the kroean war, nor the cold war/..(okay maybe hte colrd war), we didnt fight for pleasure in WW2

I'm saying that when we win, pleasure comes, because victory brings only such, and sometimes some land, but, that's not important.

In the Revolutionary War, America wanted freedom from Great Britain, yes? So, when we won, freedom was given to all (mostly, slaves are freed later). Therefore, freedom grants pleasure in the hearts of Americans.

Victory translates to pleasure, happiness, and reputation. That's what I mean.

but in the end, America never fought for the pleasure of war. which is what this whole thing was about.

War isn't a videogame, believe it or not, people actually DIE, sometimes horribly, sometimes without warning. The Iraq war is completely POINTLESS and our focus should be on the Al Quida or however the fuck you spell it...

I want to get back on this topic, let me start with this, who is against the war?

Alright, give me your reasoning.

Because the entire conflict is pointless, our focus needs to be on the terrorist organizations in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the like.

nroacha, I think I love you for that statement.

I agree with nrocha20, Iraq posed virtually no threat to us prior to the war, and Saddam Hussein greatly disliked Al Qaida, and did not let them into Iraq. We should have focused on eliminating them in Afghanistan, their former chief base of operations.

I think Taliban is taking some hits, and that should be our focus. Though, Iraq did have some partial threats at times, such as the Marine hell house storming.

Terror in the middle east is dropping some. I presume this'll be considered over within the next five or six years, maybe seven.

We should stay to fight terrorism, but it's really never going to end...it's terrorism, anyone could do it at any time with any gun from anywhere.

Really its our fucking govenments fault for getting involved in EVERY conflict that has ever, or will ever happen.
