I am personally for homosexuality. But I do believe Prop 8 makes sense. What do you all think?

What is prop 8??
I'm bi-sexual, just to let everyone know... So, it's obvious, I don't have a problem with homosexuality...

Prop 8 is actually a law here in America that was passed, stating that a man and a man, and a woman and a woman, cannot get married.

This thread is about ALL veiws on homo/bisexuality by the way. I was just thinking about Proposition 8.

Oh. Screw Prop. 8, I'm getting married to my girlfriend, anyway. Who are they, to tell me who I can and cannot love? Love is not America's decision, it is my own, and I will take the drastic measures, and shove my bisexsuality right in their faces.
The next thing they're going to do is ban love between man and man, woman and woman. America can't do that. There has to be a way, to override that law. That isn't right, at all. And there will be alot of protesting going on.

You could have one of you dress up as a guy.
"Nope nothing to see here."

Alright, in all honesty, I don't care for this thing. As LA said, the country doesn't have the right to decide who loves who. This isn't 'The Giver'. Almost, but not just yet.

They already did. But, I do agree a bit with Prop. 8 because marrage is a christian thing, and since Homosexuality is against the bible, it makes sense. THough I do believe that two people who love eachother do deserve that special moment. So I'm kind of mixed with this thing right now.

I don't mind people being a ll homo, or w/e.

My only problem is when a homo approaches me, attempting to flirt with me.

Oh crap, you read that book? Good, I thought that reference might be a bit too vague.

And I concur on your 'break the law' comment. Most of my friends can count on me to cover their asses if they need it.

Marriage is in fact not christian, believe it or not. It is actually a legal contract, which bonds two individuals, creating a kinship. Marriage was actually around, before there was Christianity or Judaism.

Marriage is another word for courting basically, right? only a more permanent form of it.

Marriage has been around since the birth of the human race...wait no. thats not right.

well, its been around a lot longer than any religion, i think i can say..

Courting is dating. So, I would share a courtship with my girlfriend. Then, there is engagement, or betrothed, either one... Then, Marriage. It doesn't matter what religion, marriage doesn't come from religion.
I don't care what the bible says, I'm not a believer. So, I think America should stop forcing their Bible on everyone, and drop the whole prop 8, because seriously, I could care less. I don't have a religion to hold me back. I do, however have morals, which do back me up for who I am.
(sorry to anyone who is christian, I don't like being forced to believe in something, which I don't believe.)

Oh really? I'm not much on this subject, thats just what I was told once. Either way, Christians support the idea of no marrage of the same sex.

And that's what is so corrupt about America. There we go. People base too many things on their own religion, because they are closed minded fools, who don't want to face the reality of things, so they shut them out, hiding behind a law, that will get broken and over-ruled by protesting in a calm way.

Please calm down a little. I'm sure we will sort ourselves out soon enough. Wait... sorry to assume your not calm. We have a lot of work to do on our economy, but I do believe that homosexual marrage should be allowed. And we aren't as bad as you are thinking, its actually quite nice here, believe it or not.

The really fucked up thing about it is that there is supposed to be a permanent and complete boundry between Church and State.
