Big Bang is my favorite band. its k-pop, and has a nice ring of rap in it. they are not american wannabees cuz they have their own style.
my favorite song from them brought tears to my eyes (cuz me being korean, i can understand some of what they're saying). after about the 5th time i still felt sad, but it didn't bring tears to my eyes
so i jsut watched it again with eng subs. and the song turns out to have an even deeper meaning to it (which of course, had my eyes watering, and thinking about my life). If you're mature enough, you will understand this deeper meaning. Its not something i can describe.
and something else that i got from the "deeper meaning" is that the whole song is sung from the girls point of view and the effect it has on the lead character (leader GD) that was really sad
and whats even sadder, is at the beginning when they are singing from their perspective, (before the punch) theres a misunderstanding. The guy that looks like he has masscarra thinks the guy hurt her. Listen to the words closely (or read)
anyways heres the MV
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duu3FReQ9HA
btw this isnt the only style they sing. check out thier others songs. except the old songs. dont listen to them. you'll no these by teh fact taht they have a picture of a korean guy that almost pulls off the look of a black guy.
anyway discuss your favorite music here, comment others, hell you can even post up music that you made, such as piano, guitar, a song, etc.

I'm a big fan of the Blues, particularly Chicago Blues. Here are some examples:

I don't know why Linkin Park is 'emo'. I love New Divide.

District 9 OST is good.
I watched the movie just now, and I'm still wet the eyes from the damn sad ending...
